WinSolo is a mini-application that is used to temporarily close all background applications (even the ones that don't show up in the Ctrl-Alt-Del Close Program window) in order to allow a sensitive application to run with no interruption from other multi-tasking applications. WinSolo is especially useful for preventing errors when burning/recording CDs. It shuts down all hidden and background applications, allowing the CD burning process to run smoothly and without any disk access glitches. It also helps when running applications that complain of low system resources or run substantially slower due to external programs accessing the disk (ScanDisk, Defrag).

Suggestion from Paula Bean Get Paintshop pro (free download from Jasc.com it will lighten your pictures, crop, change from .jpeg to .gif and a million things that will make your life easier. You can also do animation projects.
